Angelina Jolie Sells Her Stake In $164M French Estate She Co-Owns With Brad Pitt As Their Divorce Continues: Report

Angelina Jolie sold her share of the $164 million French Chateau she co-owns with estranged husband Brad Pitt.

As the famous co-parents continue to fight it out in court over custody of their children, the Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday, October 6, the Wanted actress rid herself of her stake in the Chateau Miraval winery in Correns, France.

Wine group Tenute del Mondo — which also owns Masseto and Ornellaia — reportedly acquired Jolie's share of the property for an undisclosed price.

Jolie's real estate move comes after the Oscar winning actor filed a lawsuit against his soon-to-be ex-wife, claiming she was trying to cut him out of the opportunity to buy her half. Pitt's suit alleged Jolie tried to sell her shares without his right of first refusal.

OK! reported the former flames became equal shareholders of Miraval, owned by Quimicum, years prior to their split — Pitt previously held a 60 percent share via his company, Mondo Bongo, and Jolie had 40 percent via her company, Nouvel, before he gave Jolie 10 percent of Mondo Bongo's shares to Nouvel.

Luckily, the former Hollywood couple seemed to work out their differences, as Jolie kissed her shares of the property goodbye, it was reported.

The Mr. and Mrs. Smith costars came to an agreement on the division of their assets, as they decided to lift a “standard temporary restraining order," which was why Jolie was able to sell her half of the French mansion, Page Six reported.

The brunette beauty filed for divorce from Pitt in 2016 and requested primary custody of five of their six kids: Pax, 17, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 15, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 13. Meanwhile, 20-year-old son Maddox is legally considered an adult.

Pitt previously took home a win in their custody battle last June when he was granted joint custody. However, Judge John Ouderkirk got the boot from the case after Jolie's lawyers argued he failed to disclose he had relationships with the Fight Club actor's team.

Amid the actors' custody dispute, the Maleficent star revealed she feared for her kids safety during their marriage, saying Pitt had been “verbally abusive and physical” with their eldest son. The mother-of-six seemed to be referring to the 2016 incident where Maddox and Pitt had an alleged physical altercation on the family's private plane.
