What drama? Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga put on a united front in New York City despite their former Real Housewives of New Jersey costar Danielle Staub making shocking claims in a new Bravo tell-all.
The Standing Strong author, 49, and the 42-year-old stepped out on Wednesday, October 27, to support Melissa’s husband (and Teresa's younger brother) Joe Gorga at his comedy show at Caroline’s on Broadway.
Teresa couldn’t hold back her happiness as she headed into the venue with fiancé Luis Ruelas, who recently proposed to the mom-of-four during a romantic getaway to Greece. Meanwhile, Melissa arrived at the historic comedy club hand-in-hand with her hubby of 17 years, who was making his stand-up debut in the Big Apple. (The couple share Antonia, Joey and Gino.)
As OK! previously reported, Staub claimed in Not All Diamonds and Rosé that the Envy boutique owner “blew up [Staub’s] phone constantly” during filming of season 2 of the reality series — prior to Melissa being cast.
“Andy Cohen, [executive producer] Lucilla [D'Agostino] — they knew because I would send them every message and tell them everything Melissa was telling me," the 59-year-old claimed in the book, "how she and Joey [Gorga] wanted me to come out to their house and film with them, how she wanted to expose Teresa and get her locked up from fraud, how she and Joey were going to help me look good.”
However, theLove Italian Style: The Secrets of my Hot and Happy Marriage author had a different version of events: "I did know my sister-in-law was giving Danielle a hard time, so Danielle and I vented to each other about how difficult Teresa was. But that's as far as it went."
Teresa and Melissa were famously embroiled in a nasty feud on RHONJ over the Celebrity Apprentice alum’s belief that her sister-in-law had betrayed her by signing on to star in the series. Meanwhile, Giudice and her ex-husband Joe Giudice — who share Gia, 20, Gabriella, 17, Milania, 15, and Audriana, 12 — plead guilty to 41 counts of fraud and each served jail time.
Still, it seems the New Jersey natives are doing just fine, despite Staub’s shocking claims: The dynamic duo were snapped enjoying Joe’s performance together from the audience.
