NFL player Henry Ruggs III is likely to face 4 separate criminal charges following a drunk driving incident that left a woman and her dog dead on Tuesday, November 2.

Not only was the 22-year-old wide receiver's blood alcohol level said to be twice over the legal limit, but he was reportedly driving his Corvette Stingray 156 miles per hour just before the horrific crash.

Ruggs slammed into Serbian immigrant Tina Tintor's Rav4 and the vehicle immediately burst into flames, later killing both the 23-year-old and her dog, Maxi, who were trapped inside.

Authorities stated, "preliminary investigation indicates the front of the Chevrolet collided with the rear of the Toyota."

The football player was seen crying on the side of the road at the site of the accident. He was taken to a hospital to treat non life threatening injuries prior to his arrest, but was later released from custody on $150,000 bail.

Las Vegas Police confirmed Ruggs was previously facing 1 charge of "DUI resulting in death", but according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the Raiders alum will likely also face felony charges including "reckless driving resulting in substantial bodily harm", "DUI resulting in substantial bodily harm", as well as charges for possession of a firearm — found in his vehicle — while under the influence.

Bojana Filipovic, a friend of the deceased woman, spoke to Fox 5 Vegas about Tintor, saying the young woman had been on the path to getting her U.S. citizenship and that "everything was going swell."

"We always go to parks and walk her dogs and just hang out and have a good time. And just think about the future," she added. "We were just talking about going to Serbia together."

If convicted on all charges, Ruggs will face up to 46 years in prison.
