Travis Scott Slapped With 8 Lawsuits Following Astroworld Festival Tragedy As 'Distraught' Rapper Cancels Upcoming Las Vegas Appearance

Travis Scott’s legal woes are mounting!

Following the tragedy at the Astroworld Festival on Friday, November 5 — where eight concertgoers died after being crushed by a stampede — the rapper has been slapped with eight separate lawsuits.

In court docs obtained by Radar, the 30-year-old, along with Live Nation and the organizers of Astroworld, have been hit with the suits as fans blame them for the injuries they suffered. Kylie Jenner’s baby daddy stands accused of refusing to listen to security concerns before the show.

Kristian Paredes is suing Scott and Drake — who was a surprise performer during the event — after she became “severely injured” in the crowd. She is accusing the rappers of inciting the madness. “The crowd became chaotic and a stampede began leaving eight dead and dozens including Kristian Paredes severely injured,” the suit read.

“Many begged security guards hired by Live Nation Entertainment for help, but were ignored,” her complaint added.

The second case was filed by Marielena Chavez who accused the Texas native of having “inadequate security” as well as no “plan to protect attendees at the festival.”

A third suit was filed by a man named Wasem Abulawai and a fourth by a man named Patrick Polier. Both lawsuits allege the same complaints against the “goosebumps” crooner and Live Nation. The fifth case was brought by a man named Dante Deberardino. He is seeking $1 million in compensation for his injuries. A man named Manuel Souza brought the sixth lawsuit over the “preventable” tragedy.

The last two cases were filed by a man named Coritius Broussard and a woman named Tobenna Okezie.

Okezie is seeking $1 million in damages after being injured at Astroworld. “As a result of inadequate security and a security plan to protect attendees at the festival, conditions were created and consented to by the festival organizers that caused several stampedes and a crowd compression that resulted in the tragic death of eight individuals and the serious injuries of hundreds more,” her complaint read.
