Ghislaine Maxwell is asking for one more favor from her former acquaintance.
The 60-year-old — who is known for her involvement in Jeffrey Epstein's horrific sex trafficking scheme — is still trying to score a payday from her late pal.
Last week, the socialite was found guilty on five out of six sex trafficking-related charges, for which she faces up to 65 years in prison, after grooming and recruiting young girls for sexual abuse.
Now, Maxwell is demanding that her former lover cover the hefty cost of her legal fees, even in his death. (Epstein was found dead in his jail cell by apparent suicide while he was awaiting his own sex trafficking trial back in 2019.)

According to The Sun, Maxwell is seeking over $5.5 million from Epstein's estate to cover her legal fees after claiming the billionaire made an agreement to support her financially.
Spencer Kuvin, a lawyer who represents victims of Epstein's, told the outlet that Maxwell's request to get money from the disgraced financier was "pretty unbelievable," considering the pair's heinous acts.
"That money should go to survivors, not Ghislaine Maxwell," Kuvin reportedly stated. "Even after being convicted of criminal conspiracy, she wants to try and get money from a dead pervert's estate."
"One hundred percent of that money should have gone to the victims," the attorney continued, per the outlet.
One of Epstein and Maxwell's victims Virginia Giuffre has been extremely vocal about the sexual abuse she allegedly suffered at the hands of the wealthy pair when she was only a teenager.
Giuffre, who is now 38 years old, recently spoke out about Maxwell's conviction and the justice she has been wanting for years. "My soul yearned for justice for years and today the jury gave me just that," she wrote on social media following Maxwell's guilty verdict. "I will remember this day always."
"Having lived with the horrors of Maxwell's abuse, my heart goes out to the many other girls and young women who suffered at her hands and whose lives she destroyed," she continued. "I hope that today is not the end but rather another step in justice being served."
"Maxwell did not act alone. Others must be held accountable," Giuffre declared. "I have faith that they will be."
Giuffre has also sued Prince Andrew, who she claims she was forced to have sex with three times at Epstein's command. A judge is expected to rule on whether or not Giuffre's case against the royal will be dismissed.
