The 63-year-old — who is still dealing with the fallout from the fatal October shooting on the Rust film set — was spotted looking rundown while heading into his New York City apartment.
The 30 Rock alum was photographed on Thursday, January 6, before walking into his building while carrying what appeared to be a gift basket filled with fruit and wine. Alec was most likely delivering the sweet treat to his wife — whom he wed in 2012 — for her 38th birthday.
The lovebirds have been especially supportive of each other as the actor continues to be scrutinized by the media following the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.
As OK! previously reported, Alec was holding the prop gun that killed the 42-year-old after the weapon was mysteriously loaded with live ammunition.
The Boss Baby alum — who insists he has been cooperating with the investigation into the horrific incident — has been hit with multiple lawsuits for his involvement in the fatal mishap.
Hilaria, who shares six children with the comedian, has recently spoken out about the negative media attention and "online bullying" her family has received as a result of the accident.
Earlier this week, the yoga instructor asked her followers to offer "kindness" to others instead of falling victim to "nasty gossip."
Hilaria also previously expressed her gratitude for those who have shown her hubby support in the wake of the tragedy. "Grateful for people who stop my husband to say they are thinking about him," or "praying for him... all of these messages are life changing for him," she wrote via Instagram at the time. "A quick act of kindness means the world to us."
