The most expensive home in the United States has hit the market.

The Bel Air, Calif., residence is now up for grabs for a small fortune of $295 million after the mansion was projected to list for as much as $500 million.

The house — dubbed "The One" — was stalled by construction issues, which caused severe financial problems for the developer, but now is ready for it's forever home owner.

If the infamous home finds its perfect buyer, it will officially be the most expensive home ever sold in the state of California behind that of venture-capitalist Marc Andreessen who paid $177 million for his Malibu mansion and Jeff Bezos who paid $165 million for his Beverly Hills estate.

The 105,000 square foot home is reportedly twice as big as the White House, boasting 360-degree panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, downtown Los Angeles and the San Gabriel Mountains.

Made for the likes of a royal, the home is surrounded on all three sides by a moat and has 21 bedrooms and 49 bathrooms.
