A proud girlfriend!

Chelsea Handler couldn't help but gush over boyfriend Jo Koy after he landed a pilot order at ABC for the single-cam comedy Josep, for which the comedian will be the writer and executive producer.

After news of Koy's pilot made headlines, Handler was quick to applaud her hard-working hunk, as she took to her Instagram Story on Tuesday, January 11, to show him some love. "Woo — hoo, look at my baby go!" she enthusiastically wrote while re-sharing Koy's post of a Variety article about his upcoming show.

"I can't wait for you all to see this," Koy captioned his original post. "Thank you." His loving girlfriend, along with a plethora of friends and fans, showed their support for the 50-year-old in his comment section, with Handler writing: "Way to go, baby!"

According to Variety, Josep follows a recently divorced Filipino American nurse, played by Koy, as he navigates his way through dating and fatherhood, in addition to dealing with his Filipino mother who loves to "help."

It shouldn't come as a surprise that Handler boasted about her man's upcoming project, as the two often celebrate each other's wins.

Last month, Joy expressed how proud he was of "my woman" for winning The People's Choice Award for Best Comedy Tour of 2021. "This is the best time of our lives and it just keeps getting better," he wrote alongside a slo-mo video of the two comically posing together. "Congratulations love you deserve all the flowers."

The longtime friends confirmed their relationship in September after rumors began swirling weeks prior. Ever since going public, Handler has been encouraging her 4.3 million Instagram followers to not give up on love while confessing: "Jo has renewed my faith in men."

"For everyone who is still looking for their person, do not adjust who you are or make yourself smaller to find them," she advised, before telling fans: "Be patient and never settle for anything less than you deserve. Your person is coming and sometimes — they’ve been standing in front of you the whole time."
