Wendy Williams has reportedly cut off communication entirely with producers as her ongoing health woes continue to keep her from returning to her famed purple chair.

The beloved talk show host has sat on the sidelines since she took a break from the show in September due to several health concerns including a breakthrough case of COVID-19, complications from her battle with Graves disease, and hospitalization for psychiatric services.

Despite rumors that the 57-year-old is eager to make her triumphant return, according to an insider, Williams has stopped talking to anyone on The Wendy Williams Show production team.

"She hasn’t been talking to anybody, not producers, not senior producers- no one," an insider spilled to The Sun. "She has disappeared and the only line of contact production has is through her manager."

"Her manager is an ex-cop, so they like him because he can be a police man for her," the insider continued. "He really has no control over her anyway."

"She's isolated herself from everyone and isn’t talking to anybody connected to the show," they added, explaining that all of this doesn't look good for her future with the show. "I don't think she's ever going to come back to the studio."

This comes after OK! reported that Williams had been acting erratically and "sobbing uncontrollably" shortly before her hospitalization.

The host was struggling with addiction and drinking heavily following her split with her ex-husband Kevin Hunter in 2019, but when her manager and a few of her staffers went to visit her to show her support, they reportedly found her stripped naked, "touching herself in a sexual manner" and "shouting vulgar comments" at them.

OK! also recently learned the former radio DJ reportedly spent a quiet Christmas alone after her months of health woes and ups and downs in her now uncertain career.

“Wendy no longer has any allies, she is totally unable to keep friends because they say she 'uses' people,” a source dished. “She’s incredibly rude to people who try to get close to her, or try to help her.”
