CADILLAC ESCALADE-V OFFICIALLY TEASED

On the same day that GM is pushing out its first examples of the all-electric Lyriq SUV from the Spring Hill Assembly plant in Tennessee, we’re treated with a wonderful paradox. Because just moments ago, the high-octane, supercharged LT4-powered 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V has officially been teased, with more promised tomorrow, January 21. Let’s have a look and listen below:

2023 Cadillac Escalade-V: Details

As MC&T first and exclusively reported two years ago, the 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V will be the most powerful three-row luxury SUV on the market, with a powertrain that will be shared with the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing, as well as the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. The Escalade-V will be the first GM SUV with a supercharged V8, and will be the only SUV on the current T1 platform that will get a high performance version. Sorry Chevy and GMC, no LT4 for you.

The front fascia of the 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V appear to be more aggressive than the standard Escalade, with larger lower air-intakes and a deeper chin spoiler. Around back we also see some quad exhaust tips, which are not present on any current Cadillac Escalade model. These tips are not new to the brand however, as they look similar to the units found on both the CT4-V and CT5-V Blackwing models. Above the new exhaust tips also sits a redesigned rear bumper.

The tires seem to be similar to if not exactly the same size as the standard Cadillac Escalade. The spy photos make it unclear as to what brand and type they are exactly. There’s also little to suggest that this supercharged Escalade will be wider than the base model, but it’s evident that it will come in long wheelbase form, which will allow for three comfortable rows of seats, and abundant cargo space.

Pricing of the 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V is TBA, but it’s likely to be well into the $100,000+ range. Give us your best guess on what you think it will be in the comments below.
