This electric kickbike is a cross between a BMX and a skateboard

Turkish manufacturer Tozz Bike presents an original electric kickbike, directly inspired by urban sports, BMX and skateboarding. It claims to be more comfortable and safer than a classic model, although that does come at a cost.

Take a skateboard, add an electric motor and BMX wheels, and now you're looking at an approximate mock-up of the Pipegun, the very first electric kickbike from Tozz Bike. With this model, the manufacturer wanted to salute the field of urban sports, with what is billed as a safe and comfortable model boasting a rather surprising look.

According to Tozz Bike, this kickbike benefits from increased durability, especially thanks to its stainless steel body. In terms of performance, it is equipped with a 250W motor that allows it to reach a maximum speed of 25km/h. The accompanying lithium-ion battery can be fully charged in eight hours, and promises a range of about 35 km.

Its handlebar boasts the kind of comfort and a precision of control rarely seen on a kickbike. The 20-inch wheels, equipped with BMX tires, deliver greater stability and better road holding than other, more traditional alternatives. They especially help to effortlessly absorb recurrent day-to-day shocks and impacts.

The Tozz Bike Pipegun should be on the market soon from $2,100.
