FORD BRONCO RAPTOR WILL BE AVAILABLE IN THE UAE MARKET

The 2022 Ford Bronco Raptor was created around the ethos of being “Ultra-4 Inspired,” which means that it has to shine like a diamond in rugged desert landscapes. See events like the King of the Hammers and/or the Baja 1000 for some examples. That also means that these desert-proven high-performance capabilities are well suited for the well-heeled customers of the United Arab Emirates.

Have you seen what they do for fun over there? American adrenaline junkies would feel right at home.

Where the first-ever Raptor SUV really shines is underneath its rugged looking exterior, which consists of a fully boxed frame for a substantial increase in rigidity and off-road performance as well as specifically designed front and rear control arms that allow for a maximum of 13-inches of wheel travel in the front and 14-inches in the rear which are respectively 60 and 40-percent better than the base model Bronco.

The 2022 Ford Bronco Raptor also shares axles with the Bronco DR, a Coyote V8-powered race truck that will compete in the Baja 1000 come November, replacing the EcoBoost-powered Bronco R. If it wasn’t obvious from the pictures you might have seen, the Bronco Raptor also sports the biggest shoes of any production SUV in America: 37-inch BF Goodrich KO2 tires taken right off the F-150 Raptor 37-inch Tire Package to soak up all of that uneven desert terrain.

Of course, all of this capability comes at a price, which is a few bucks shy of $70,000 USD in America, before any inevitable markups. Pricing for the UAE market has yet to be announced, but it’s expected to be exported to the region by summer of 2022, right when they start rolling off the Michigan Assembly Plant production line.
