2022 BRONCO EVERGLADES CAN FORD OVER 3 FEET OF WATER

If you’re in the market for a Jeep Wrangler or Ford Bronco, you’re likely buying one to take off-roading to some extent. If that’s the case, water crossings will be inevitable and are often some of the most fun challenges to overcome when exploring the roads less traveled. So you’ll be happy to know that the 2022 Ford Bronco Everglades will be able to tackle that obstacle with ease as it boasts a total of 36.4 inches of water fording capability.

As a guide, the unique “Everglades” graphic on the side of the SUV has lines that help you measure water fording depth. Again, it’s over three feet.

That number is awe-inspiring when you take into account that the Jeep Wrangler’s maximum water fording depth is 33.6 inches when customers opt for the Xtreme Recon package. For further comparison sake, the other Bronco variants with the Sasquatch package have a total of 33.5 inches of water crossing depth. Of course, the Ford Bronco Everglades isn’t a submarine, but so long as the water doesn’t get into the snorkel, you don’t have anything to worry about when water becomes an obstacle during your off-roading adventures.

2022 Ford Bronco Everglades: Details And Pricing

The new Bronco Everglades has various features that make it stand out in a crowd; most notable is the passenger side snorkel. However, it also comes with a factory-installed Warn Zeon 10-S winch connected to the standard heavy-duty modular front bumper. As with the other National Park named Broncos, a unique “Everglades” decal located on the fender panels showcases the topography of the park it was named after. Notably, when taking a vehicle through any water, if that water goes over the lower door sills, you’re bound to find a bit of moisture in the floorboard. Luckily, Ford has you covered and has integrated rubberized washout flooring complete with drain plugs.

Suppose you’re still waiting on your Ford Bronco reservation. In that case, there is some good news as the 2022 Ford Bronco Everglades will at first only be available to existing Bronco reservation holders (the same goes for the Bronco Raptor). Pricing for the Bronco Everglades starts at $53,000 plus $1,495 destination and delivery charges. Ford will begin production of salable Breverglades in the summer of 2022.
