2023 FORD MAVERICK ORDERING AND PRODUCTION DATES MAY HAVE LEAKED

The 2022 Ford Maverick has had an overwhelmingly successful year, so much so that Ford is currently struggling to keep up with demand. With all the benefits the tiny truck has to offer, we can see why. As a result, Ford have closed orders for the 2022 model year, so they have time to catch up before beginning production on the 2023 Maverick.

A forum thread on the Maverick Truck Club has recently revealed important dates for the 2023 Ford Maverick. On August 16th, 2022, dealer orders will open for MY2023, which will give people a two-month window to get their orders in before Ford Maverick production begins on October 24th. Of course, that’s quite a distance away which means that the dates could change later down the line as new issues arise.

Ford has seen quite a lot of success with the Ford Maverick. Within the first month of the new year, sales numbers released by Ford show that they’ve sold 1,276 more Mavericks than Rangers. Additionally, the Maverick was outselling four other trucks on the market. The Maverick’s success likely comes from its exquisite capability paired with the outstanding gas mileage both the hybrid and 2.0L have to offer. The hybrid powertrain can see around 40 MPG depending on how it’s driven. Meanwhile, the 2.0L Ecoboost paired with AWD makes about 25 MPG. Both of those are incredible numbers, especially when compared to the majority of other trucks currently on the market. Despite being a small truck, the Maverick offers almost the same payload capacity as a Toyota Tundra.

So if you missed the deadline to place your order for the 2022 Ford Maverick, you might want to mark August 16th on your calendar, so you can be one of the first to put your order in for the 2023 Maverick.
