While Stellantis seems to be a bit more gradual with its approach on launching an electric pickup truck, we’ve been told the wait will be worth it. The Ram EV, expected to be called the Revolution, is expected to be here in 2024, and has been previously teased last summer with a set of darkened design illustrations. However, a new set of images were released today during the Stellantis Strategic Plan presentation, hosted by CEO Carlos Tavares. And they show a truck that’s quite a bit different from what we’ve seen before.
As pictured above, the latest photos appear to showcase the daytime running lights of the Ram Revolution EV forming an “X” with the new Ram logo up front, positioned front and center at the interrupted intersection. To us, it’s a design element that we’ve seen before on the last-generation Ram 1500 (pictured: below) that was on the market until the 2019 model year.

Similarly the rear of the truck (pictured: bottom) features tail lights that extend through the top of the tailgate where both sides meet at the new Ram logo as well. Other design cues worth noting are the raked windshield and seemingly oversized hood which is likely housing additional on board storage or an outlet friendly space that will enable you to take advantage of the on board generator meant to power your worksite.
The Ram Revolution electric pickup truck is also expected to sport an STLA Frame, a body on frame EV architecture that seems intended for commercial full-size vehicles that would include vans and large SUVs. Stellantis has previously went on record on saying that the upcoming STLA Frame electric pickup truck would be good for 500-miles of range, while a gasoline range extender option is said to be in the works as well, which is being internally nicknamed the “Range Electric Paradigm Breaker,” or REPB truck.
