LATE-MODEL DODGE CHALLENGER HELLCAT WIDEBODY KIT NOW AVAILABLE

Dodge has incrementally improved the Challenger SRT Hellcat since it was originally introduced for the 2015 model year. Perhaps the most noticeable update was the addition of the Widebody Package for the 2019 model year, which accommodated wider tires underneath extended fenders, all while looking meaner in the process. This in turn gave the Challenger Hellcat even better performance when it came to lateral grip and stopping distance thanks to the extra rubber meeting the road.

That also makes four years of standard-bodied Hellcat Challengers less desirable. Thankfully, Dodge has a solution through its recently announced Direct Connection program.

Dodge Challenger: Widebody Kit Details

Currently, customers have four choices when it comes to buying a widened Dodge Challenger: the R/T Scat Pack Widebody ($48,220), SRT Hellcat Widebody ($67,850), SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody ($79,850), and the SRT Super Stock ($82,850). And retrofitting a pre-2019 Challenger Hellcat with a Widebody package meant going through a third, non-warranty-backed party. Until now, as the 2022 Dodge Direct Connection Catalog now features a Widebody Fender Flare Kit for all Challengers from the 2015 model year and up for $2,495.

But wait! There’s more! Other exterior upgrades include an SRT Hellcat Front Fascia Kit for $1,995 and a 2019 Hellcat Hood upgrade for $1,495.

The upgrades are covered under warranty, giving an even greater incentive to go with the catalog rather than finding an aftermarket specialist to cut into your car. It’s also good to note that the upgrades also include performance enhancements, which everyone likes to have on their muscle car.

Customers can also choose to go all-in on their Dodge Challenger upgrade by opting for the complete package named the Challenger Street Dream Build. While it is indeed a pricey option at $21,795, it promises to boost your car’s power rating to 885 horsepower and 787 lb-ft of torque with a quarter-mile sprint of 10.8 seconds. Additionally, the kit includes all of the exterior options previously mentioned.
