Former President Donald Trump mocked Sen. Lindsey Graham (D-South Carolina) by calling him a “progressive” at a fundraising event at Mar-a-Lago.

Trump said “he’s a progressive, but he’s out progressive,” this follows reports that Graham wanted the 25th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution invoked to remove Trump who was then President during the Jan. 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol. The word “out” was probably a dig at the widespread belief that Graham is gay.

When the insurrection was going on, Graham was so angry that he called White House Counsel Pat Cipollone and threatened to support invoking the 25th Amendment. Graham also later suggested that Joe Biden, who was then President-elect, was a good choice for the job, which further rubbed Trump the wrong way.

R.I.N.O. is a term that means “Republican in name only.” Trump has used the term mostly to refer to politicians who opposed him, like Reps. Liz Cheney (R-Wyoming) and Adam Kinzinger (R-Illinois). But Graham still backs Trump in other ways – he recently said that he wouldn’t support Mitch McConnell as GOP Senate leader unless he develops a good “working relationship” with Trump.
