JEEP GLADIATOR D-CODER CONCEPT HAS US SEEING RED

Earlier this year we were teased that a Jeep Gladiator of sorts would be showcased at Moab for the 2022 Easter Jeep Safari. Now that the Safari is here, we understand why Jeep teased the Gladiator the way they did, a pixelated image resembling that of a QR code in the shape of the Jeep truck. That pixelated truck is the Jeep Gladiator D-Coder Concept.

This Jeep Gladiator is decked out in over 35 Jeep Performance Parts accessories all of which carry a QR code label corresponding to each individual accessory, it’s a catalog on wheels. Each QR code brings you to that specific item listing in the Mopar E-store where you’ll be able to find specific part numbers, and pricing information. Two special QR codes on the hood and beside of the vehicle will bring you to the JPP catalog.

Jeep Gladiator D-Coder Accessories

Starting at the front the D-Coder Gladiator features a three-piece Rubicon bumper featuring a single hoop tubular grill and a Warn winch as well as two TYRI 7-inch LED off-road lights. For added clearance the Jeep features a 2-inch lift kit with FOX shocks for added support. Crawling over the rocks are a set of 17-by-8.5-inch five-spoke beadlock wheels riding on BFGoodrich KM3 37-inch tires. A snorkel stands out on the front passenger side keeping water out of the cold air intake feeding the 3.6L engine. The windshield isn’t run of the mill, its Gorilla Glass and a pair of TYRI 5-inch LED lights sit atop the A-pillar.

Other accessories include heavy gauge steel rock sliders, tube doors, rock rails situated behind the rear wheels with a replaceable nylon trim cover. The truck bed features a spray-in bedliner and a THULE low-profile cargo basket seated on bed rails. Inside the Gladiator is a host of accessories as well including grab handles, a mesh sunbonnet, all-weather floor mats and Katzkin leather seats colored in Maraschino Red.
