TWO-DOOR JEEP WRANGLER 4XE TEASED AHEAD OF MOAB EASTER SAFARI

Jeep currently only offers the Wrangler 4xe in a four-door configuration. That may be changing soon though as we get another teaser photo for the upcoming Moab Easter Safari. The photo features some new accessories from Jeep Performance Parts as well as what appears to be a two-door JL Jeep Wrangler 4xe. The annual off-roading event is scheduled to take place in less than two weeks from now.

Jeep confesses that this Wrangler 4xe concept features some of the latest custom innovations from Jeep Performance Parts and Mopar. On top of another 4xe coming to the party, JPP seems to be teasing its own new accessory, some kind of rooftop storage kit judging by the picture alone.

This teaser would mark the third plug-in hybrid expected to show up in the desert. Aside from a previously teased WL Grand Cherokee 4xe, we also saw a military-inspired Wrangler 4xe teased not too long ago as well. The Wrangler 4xe is a capable off-road vehicle that supplies a range of 370 miles, and a respectable 375 hp via its 2.0L turbo-charged four cylinder combustion engine and two electric motors. And if the horsepower number doesn’t stand out, a Hemi V8-matching 470 lb-ft of torque will.

Along with the 4xe hybrids, the gasoline powered Jeeps expected to debut at Moab include a Wrangler 392 concept, as well as a Gladiator or two one of which is expected to be a two-door model concept as well.

The Easter Jeep Safari is a favorite among Jeep owners and enthusiasts. While it sounds exclusive to Jeep, the host website states anyone can join the expedition. That being said, we know for a fact there will be a few Ford Bronco’s in attendance presumably trying to outdo their off-road rival. The Safari starts on April 9th and concludes on Easter Sunday, April 17th, we may see a few more Jeep teases before then though.
