During the Barrett-Jackson auction in Palm Beach, the first production 2022 Ford Bronco Raptor managed to sell for an impressive $350,000, all of which is heading to charitable causes.

Ford has a history of putting the first release vehicles to auction to raise funds for charity, and in the case of the Bronco Raptor, two charities will be splitting the total proceeds. National Forest Foundation and Outward Bound. The National Forest Foundation leads forest conservation and promotes responsible recreation. Responsible recreation helps keep off-road trails open for people to explore, which is vital for new Ford Bronco owners. Unfortunately, the off-road community hasn’t always had the best image, and reckless abandonment of nature while exploring can quickly lead to the closure of local trails.

The other charity taking support from the hammer price is Outward Bound USA, the leading provider of outdoor education programs aimed at young people. The group strives to explore personal potential and cultivate a passion for learning and discovering greater success through the use of the outdoors.
