The S550 Ford Mustang generation is in its twilight, but that hasn’t stopped new packages from debuting. Just last year, Ford pulled the sheet off of six, yes six, different S550 Mustang variants. We had the Mustang GT500 Heritage Edition, The Mustang Ice White Edition, the Mustang GT/CS the Coastal Limited Edition, and the Mustang Stealth Edition. And even as the S650 Mustang is expected to debut as soon as next spring, Ford isn’t done with the outgoing model yet.
Today, Ford teased a blacked-out package for the S550 Mustang that’s tentatively being called the “Black Accent Package.” But as you can see, the placeholder name kinda falls short of any charisma. So, Ford is asking the fans what it should be called. This would have been a good time to use the “Stealth Edition” name, but… oh well.

Ford asks you to go here to type in your best suggestion for what this new Ford Mustang package should be called. The message is as follows:

In the past, we’ve called it like it was: the Mustang black accent package.
But we think this signature package needs a signature name to match.So we’re turning to a place known for good ideas and opinions: the Internet.
We want to hear your name ideas for the Mustang black accent package.Oh, and by the way, we will not be including any offensive or inappropriate names, so please keep them family-friendly. Or else we’ll tell your mom.
So, no bad words. Got it. And other taken names like Obsidian (Jeep), Night Edition (Ram), or Midnight Edition (Chevrolet) probably won’t hold water, either. What say you, dear readers? Will you chime in? Will you name this new Ford Mustang black accent package?
