CADILLAC ESCALADE-V, JEEP WRANGLER 392 HEAD TO AUCTION FOR CHARITY

It’s not uncommon to see vehicles go up for auction in the name of charity, especially at Barrett Jackson’s auto auctions. This time around there are two vehicles that will be sold 100% for charity, a 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V, and a 2022 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon 392. Both vehicles represent the best of their brand and look to contribute mightily to their respective charities.

Barrett-Jackson has contributed over $145 million to charities, usually offering up the very first production model of a new vehicle or special editions for the cause. NASCAR owner Rick Hendrick recently purchased the first retail C8 Corvette Z06 for $1 million. The auction company waives both the commission and any associated fees with the sale so that charities may take advantage of the full purchase price. The next auction is set to take place June 30th to July 2nd in Las Vegas, where the mighty Escalade-V and Hemi-powered Jeep Wrangler are set to make some money for good causes.

2023 Cadillac Escalade-V bearing VIN #001 will roll onto the auction block with no reserve looking to benefit the Center for Creative Studies, Detroit chapter of Pensole Lewis College of Business and Design, an HBCU, (historically Black college or university). The first-ever Cadillac Escalade-V features 682 horsepower and 653 lb/ft of torque provided by its 6.2L supercharged LT4+ V8 mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. It’s the most powerful V-Series Cadillac ever, and the most powerful 3-row full-size SUV in the world.

A 2022 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon 392 will also roll onto the auction block benefiting the Ronald McDonald Charities of Detroit. The Wrangler sports a 6.4L Hemi V8 pushing out 470 horsepower and 470 lb/ft of torque attached to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The Wrangler also sports an American Expedition Vehicles conversion that includes boron stamped steel bumpers, and 2.5-inch lift kit. The Jeep also comes equipped with an off-road camera, Warn winch, Trail Rail management system, and 37-inch BFGoodrich mud terrain tires.
