2022 FORD BRONCO RAPTOR IS SOLD OUT

Demand for Ford’s vehicles is seemingly at an all time high, so much so they have customers waiting in line, some of which brand new to Ford. It’s great, but with so many industry headwinds highlighted by myriad supply chain shortages. And while it’s not clear how many will be built, the latest vehicle that’s officially “sold out” for the 2022 model year is the Ford Bronco Raptor. Now, according to the price and build tool.

The exact words on the website are “Due to high demand, the current model year is no longer available.” The Bronco Raptor made landfall in January of this year and the first production model was auctioned off at Barrett-Jackson for charity and sold for a whopping $350,000. Its starting price comes in at a modest $68,500 for comparison but can get as expensive as $90,000 depending on options. The Bronco Raptor is top of its class featuring a 3.0L V6 with 400 horsepower and 448 lb-ft of torque mated to a standard 10-speed automatic transmission. Of course the rest of the vehicle is upgraded as well. The Bronco features a fully boxed frame, race truck axles, and Fox dampers, providing an astonishing 13.1-inches of ground clearance. It may have more in common with the Bronco DR than its base brethren. Standard on the Braptor are meaty 37-inch KO2 all-terrain tires as well the only tire option from the factory.

Obtaining a 2022 Ford Bronco Raptor has been difficult from the get go. Earlier this year Ford allowed specific reservation holders to convert reservations into actual orders, the individuals dubbed hand-raisers are of the small percentage that are certain to take delivery of a 2022 Bronco raptor this year. There is no word on when the 2023 Braptor order books will open but we do know there are already folks jumping in line for its lesser counterpart, we imagine the Bronco Raptor will follow suit soon after.
