TOM BRADY THINKS THE FORD F-150 RAPTOR IS PERFECT

Tom Brady is no stranger to owning cars. He’s been a brand ambassador for some automakers not to mention having the means to buy any vehicle he could dream of. In a recent podcast hosted by Ford CEO Jim Farley, he revealed that he likes the F-150 lineup and calls it an almost perfect car. His explanation of his affection for the F-150 Raptor in particular is more practical than you might think.

Fox News reports that a recent sit-down with Ford CEO Jim Farley in his Drive podcast revealed that Tampa Bay Quarterback Tom Brady loves the F-150 Raptor, and there is evidence to support his endorsement of the vehicle. Brady was seen entering training camp with it a few years ago. The record setting quarterback mentioned in the interview that most of his teammates drive trucks because they are big individuals and naturally their belongings are not small either, such as their size 17 shoes, for example.

Brady admits that he’s been buying the Ford F-150 Raptor through the years because of its size. According to Ford’s online spec sheet the 2022 F-150 Raptor has an enormous amount of shoulder, waist and legroom coming in at 66.7, 62.5, and 43.9 inches respectively.

Brady goes on to say that he likes that he’s able to drive his F-150 Raptor, but also applauds Ford for their shift to all-electric vehicles such as the Mustang Mach-E and the F-150 Lightning. Brady acknowledges that he likes not having to stop at gas stations when driving his Tesla. He thinks what Ford is doing in terms of going electric is providing a good environmental message to the rest of the world.

While we’re uncertain if the F-150 Raptor is going to become electric anytime soon, it is rumored that an upgraded Raptor, the Raptor R is on its way as we’ve already seen it tearing up the desert in Johnson Valley with its supercharged 5.2L V8 engine.
