MORE DETAILS ON THE CADILLAC CT4-V BLACKWING TRACK EDITION

Cadillac has recently released a video showcasing the upcoming special Track Edition models of the CT4-V Blackwing, which will be fully revealed later this month. However, a new teaser adds more detail on the cars before their debut. Additionally, the automaker has given an exact date as to when the ordering books will open.

Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Track Edition: Additional Details

The previous teaser video that was released gave an insight into the exterior details of the upcoming CT4-V Blackwing Track Edition. But the latest one is simply a photo. However, Cadillac was kind enough to mention that the special edition models will be coming with unique interior packages, though the specifics have not yet been announced. They’re likely going to wait until the debut to provide that information. The CT4-V Blackwing Track Edition models will be available to order on August 1, 2022. If the initial reservations for the regular CT4-V and CT5-V Blackwing sedans are anything to go off of (filling within minutes), you’ll need to be quick on the draw if you want one of these cars.

From what we can see, the CT4-V Blackwing Track Edition will come with unique exterior details that will help set it apart from the regular Blackwings. This includes a front splitter with an exposed carbon-fiber finish and IMSA branding. Additionally, the side sills and hood have stripes in Cadillac V Series color schemes. We can see that the Sebring Circuit is illustrated on the rear driver-side window of one of the vehicles. The other vehicles may also pay homage to special tracks relevant to Cadillac history.

Cadillac hasn’t explicitly mentioned whether or not there will be any tweaks to the performance of the Track Edition CT4-V Blackwing cars, but it wouldn’t come as a surprise if they did. Perhaps, not necessarily any changes to the power output, but tweaks to the suspension to make the cars more oriented to driving on a racetrack.
