The trim choices include 1LT, 2LT, RS, and Chevy’s first ever electric SS performance model. There will also be a pursuit-rated Police Pursuit Vehicle (PPV) model for police fleet applications. The Blazer EV is based on GM’s innovative Ultium Platform with athletic styling that elevates the design established in 2018 by the gas-powered Chevy Blazer, along with performance cues inspired by the Camaro and Corvette. Just look at that interior, for crying out loud.

The Blazer EV SS has design and engineering developed to live up to the legacy of the iconic Super Sport performance designation. Offering customers the most powerful experience in the lineup. It features an exclusive performance AWD propulsion configuration designed to produce up to 557 horsepower and 648 lb-ft of torque. In addition, unique WOW (Wide Open Watts) mode enables the SUV to spring from 0-60 in less than 4 seconds, based on GM estimates. That’s more horsepower than the Mustang Mach-E GT Performance Edition, which has 480 ponies and 634 lb-ft of torque.

The Chevrolet Blazer EV offers 11.5 kW level 2 (AC) charging and standard DC public fast-charging capability of up to 190 kW, depending on the model. That enables approximately 78 miles of range to be added in 10 minutes per GM estimates. A large 17.7-inch diagonal customizable infotainment touchscreen adds to the user experience, while an 11-inch diagonal Driver Info Center provides the driver with vital information. Super Cruise is also available for the EV. Additionally, there is full LED exterior lighting, with choreographed walk-up/walk-away animation on RS and SS models.
