MUCH OF THE C8 CORVETTE ENGINEERING TEAM WILL BE AT CARLISLE

The annual Corvettes at Carlisle will be presented next month by eBay Motors at the Carlisle Fairgrounds in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. As far as Corvette shows go, this is probably the biggest one. Celebrating its 40th anniversary on August 25-27, the schedule of events is enormous, and is right on the heels of the annual Woodward Dream Cruise in Michigan happening the weekend before (with Roadkill Nights the weekend before that).

2022 Corvettes at Carlisle: Event Details

This event includes the chance to visit the largest gathering of minds behind the C8 Corvette outside of corporate headquarters. The timing is also quite perfect, as the highly anticipated 2023 Z06 is just weeks away from being delivered to customers. Not only are there plans to bring around 25 C8s, but event attendees will also be able to get up close with the Z06, Stingray, and 70th Anniversary Editions. According to Corvette Blogger, Team Chevrolet will have two displays, one with the engineers and cars and another explicitly aimed at the Z06.

Carlisle also released a list of all the GM officials that will be on hand for the event, and it includes some of the biggest names in the business. Corvettes at Carlisle is known as the largest and most fun Corvette car show on the planet. With thousands of Corvettes representing all eight generations. Events include exhaust contests, seminars, autocross, an automotive flea market, an all-Corvette car corral, and Manufacturers Midway.

People attending the event are welcome to bring their own Corvette or simply walk around and take a gander at the variety of iconic cars on display. A Carlisle spokesman also noted that the event would “spotlight all aspects of the Corvette hobby” and different styles and packages of every generation of the product from the first year in 1953 to the current C8.

Single-day spectator tickets and weekend passes are available to purchase, but if you have a Corvette to show, registration options are also available.
