SPEEDKORE AND FINALE SPEED HELP DODGE CHALLENGER GO CARBON FIBER

Modern and vintage Dodge Challenger muscle cars will be receiving a hefty dose of carbon fiber, thanks to Speedkore and Finale Speed, via the Direct Connection program.

Direct Connection is teaming up with renowned SpeedKore to offer carbon fiber body add-ons for the modern-era Dodge Challenger. SpeedKore is likely best known for the creations they’ve made for celebrities, such as Robert Downey Jr.’s 1970 Mustang, or Kevin Hart’s 1970 Dodge Charger. More recently, Speedkore made a carbon-bodied Charger for Stellantis design chief Ralph Gilles.

The parts will be officially licensed and meet or exceed OEM specifications, while also reducing weight. Carbon fiber rear spoiler, front splitter, rocker panels, and rear diffuser will be available.

Finale Speed is kicking things up a notch, and will also partner with Direct Connection to make a fully licensed and dimensionally correct reproduction body for the 1970 Challenger, made totally out of carbon fiber. The body can be built into a complete, finished vehicle with the look of a 1970 Challenger, while also having the advantage of modern supercar weight savings.

Finale Speed will also be offering carbon fiber bodies for the Plymouth Barracuda and Road Runner in the future. Both the original Challenger and the modern-era model are certified classics, and it’s awesome to see aftermarket brands offer unique products to keep them competitive.
