Musical artist Lil Nas X has released a new entry in an ongoing collaboration with Riot Games around League of Legends, promoting the brand new Empyrean K’Sante prestige skin that was designed with his help.

Lil Nas X has been collaborating with Riot Games for the 2022 world championship, authoring the Worlds anthem “Star Walkin'” and several promotional videos. The latest of these is an early tease of the freshly revealed prestige skin for the new champion, K’Sante, the Pride of Nazumah.

The new Empyreal skin line has been revealed, and the headliner is the upgrade for league’s latest champion. Empyrean K’Sante Prestige Edition is yet another top-end collectible skin for the new tanky Shuriman. It was first previewed by Riot Games in a promotional video released ahead of the skin’s official announcement. The video features the continued premise of the collaboration, in which Lil Nas X has become the fictional president of League of Legends and is making his love for K’Sante known.

The prestige skin in question was previewed today, showing off a glamorous look for the top laner. The Empyrean skins bring a cyberpunk super-soldier look to the champions being reskinned for the new line, but K’Sante’s prestige skin brings a high-fashion blend of rose golds and dark purples. The skin was designed in collaboration with Lil Nas X as a part of the Worlds promotion and certainly has his signature flair.

K’Sante will be hitting PBE on October 18, 2022, and will likely go live for all in early November. The new Lil Nas X Empyrean K’Sante prestige skin is a first of its kind, a cosmetic designed in tandem with a non-endemic figure or personality. Riot Games has experimented with customized skins for world champions but this level of pop culture collaboration is a new height for the company’s cosmetic integrations.
