Before the 2023 Corvette Z06 started making deliveries to its first customers, and after its big debut, enthusiasts were hungry for learning anything and everything about the ultimate American muscle car. Earlier this year, we found out that some of the C8 Corvette Z06 accessories wouldn’t be available right away. Now, according to Chevrolet’s accessory website, the spoiler kit in visible carbon fiber appears to be available right now.
The Corvette product team communicated earlier this year that the Z06’s visible carbon fiber spoiler kit would be offered as “late availability” claiming supply chain woes as the main culprit of slowed option availability. As sad as it was at the time, we did have the Z06 visualizer to daydream about the kit and test it out among different color schemes. While that was nice to have at the moment, we need it no more as the kit has officially become available. However, as is with anything carbon fiber, it won’t be cheap.
C8 Corvette Z06 Carbon Fiber Spoiler Kit: Details
The 2023 Corvette Z06 spoiler kit in visible carbon fiber (Part# 84862278) will cost $5,795 just for the kit. You can side-step any shipping fees by picking it up at the dealer at no additional cost to you though. According to SteveNC, a contributing member of the MidEngineCorvetteForum, having the kit installed will cost $5,990. According to his shared order photo, some drilling and adhesive may be required, should you want to install it yourself. All of the mounting hardware is also included, so you don’t have to buy anything else, unless you don’t own tools.
Believe it or not, this spoiler kit, isn’t the most expensive in the Chevrolet Performance Accessories catalog. The high wing spoiler kit in visible carbon fiber is. That kit carries a price tag of $6,495 and that’s just for the kit. If you don’t want to spend $5,000 or more on a spoiler, you can always opt for a painted high wing kit that’ll run you just $1,095. You can also tack on the low profile carbon flash metallic for $549.
