FORD PERFORMANCE HAS ADDED A BUNCH OF F-150 EXHAUST UPGRADES TO THE CATALOG

There are plenty of reasons for switching out your exhaust system for your car or truck. Not only does it sometimes improve the engine’s breathing, but it can also make the vehicle sound better. For off-road enthusiasts, switching the exhaust can improve departure angles and reduce scraping. Ford F-150 owners should rejoice because Ford Performance has just added not one but six exhaust upgrade options for 2021+ F-150s to its catalog.

Ford F-150 Exhaust Upgrade: Details

Sometimes, one factor that ends up being the greatest motivator for someone to purchase an upgrade is the price. Choosing one item over the other because it’s more affordable and won’t put as significant of a dent in your pocketbook is sometimes a contributor to a decision. Ford has decided to make the choice more complicated (or convenient) by making the price for all six exhausts the same, with an MSRP of $1,960.

Though, it might be safer to say that there are only three different exhaust systems to choose from, touring, sport, or extreme. Each of these offers a chrome or black rear exit, which brings the total to six. Ford has designed each exhaust system to fit 2.7L and 3.5L EcoBoost engines along with the 5.0L so long as the trucks have a wheelbase of 145″ and 157″ though the 157″ wheelbase will require a mid-pipe extension. As for the sound, you can check out each exhaust’s page, where Ford has provided a short video featuring audio for each one to further help with the decision.

It’s important to note that the exhaust systems don’t fit any 3.5L PowerBoost trucks, nor do they fit trucks with 122″ or 141″ wheelbases. Each system will be a matter of preference for the sound that you want to come from your Ford F-150 each time you get behind the wheel, but we can guarantee that the systems are bound to put a smile on your face, even if you’re heading to the grocery store.
