Dublin-based global consultancy Accenture saw a year-on-year increase in Q2 earnings as it released its latest results on Thursday, beating analysts' estimates. The company's earnings came in at $1.67 billion, or $2.63 per share. This compares with $1.52 billion, or $2.39 per share, in the second quarter of 2023. Excluding items, Accenture reported adjusted earnings of $1.80 billion or $2.77 per share for the period. The company's revenue for the quarter fell 0.1% to $15.80 billion from $15.81 billion last year.

Consultancy group Accenture said on Tuesday it had acquired Flo Group, a Dutch firm with a focus on global supply chain logistics. The financial terms of the transaction, which will boost capabilities in Europe, were not disclosed. "This acquisition further enhances Accenture's Oracle capabilities in Europe to help clients build more resilient and agile supply chains that provide end-to-end visibility," the company said. Technology services and outsourcing firm Accenture announced on Tuesday it had agreed to acquire GemSeek Consulting, a Bulgarian customer experience analytics provider, for an undisclosed sum. Max Morielli, president for Europe, the Middle East and Africa for Accenture Song, said the combination "will define new ways of engagement that will drive growth during these times of change."
