Activision is facing another lawsuit, this time related to an age discrimination accusation. A former Activision executive has sued the video game publisher for age discrimination, according to a report by Law360. Activision may go through another round of layoffs soon after announcing that QA staff will need to return to the office full-time. QA staff located in Minneapolis, Austin, and El Segundo will reportedly be forced to work from the Activision office and can no longer be remote starting January 2024. Activision Blizzard is set to fork out a whopping $54 million to settle a gender discrimination and harassment lawsuit. In 2021, the video game developer, which was recently acquired by Microsoft for $68.7 billion, was sued for sexism, pay disparity and bullying.
