IAB Europe’s online advertising model uses personal data and is therefore subject to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the EU’s highest court in Luxembourg clarified today (7 March). Kevin Spacey was facing a $36 million (€33 million) penalty from the production company that produced the hit Netflix show ‘House of Cards’.
