Freshman Jack linebacker Maverick Noonan will miss the 2023 season after injuring a knee, Nebraska football coach Matt Rhule said after Tuesday's practice. The good news is that it wasn't an ACL injury, and Noonan should return in six months and "be as good as new," Rhule said. The Huskers are thin at wide receiver at the moment.
