Dana Altman got some good news to finish the week after the tough news of N’Faly Dante’s appeal being denied by the NCAA. Oregon quickly pivoted with a transfer to try and fill that void. Former Georgetown Forward/Center Supreme Cook visited last weekend and ultimately committed to Oregon. The 6-foot-9, 299-pounder averaged 10.5 PPG and 8 rebounds per game for the Hoyas. He played in 32 games and averaged 27 minutes per game. Oregon will have a loaded frontcourt this season. Cook will join Kwame Evans and Nate Bittle among key returners. Oregon also scored a commitment from Stanford forward Br...

With the 2024 college football season starting in fewer than 90 days, let’s go game-by-game and predict Oregon Football’s matchups for the upcoming year. Oregon opens the season on August 31st with a home matchup against the Mountain West Conference’s Idaho Vandals. Coach Jason Eck has done a good job in two seasons with Idaho, racking up a 16-9 record for a program that’s historically struggled to field competitive teams. The Vandals are no stranger to prominent West Coast opponents as they’ve played both Oregon and Oregon State a number of times in recent years. For this year’s matchup, fans...

For the second straight day Oregon has landed another offensive line commit to its 2025 class. This time it’s one much closer to the city of Eugene. Bellevue (Wash.) offensive lineman Demetri Manning has committed to Oregon over Miami, Arkansas, UCLA, Washington and others. The 6-foot-5, 345-pounder is the No. 645 ranked player in the On3 Industry Rankings. While he’s not as highly ranked as many others on Oregon’s board, the Ducks found a fit in Manning and what he brings to the table. His commitment comes just after his official visit to Oregon. Manning will likely not take any other visits ...

Things are moving right along in recruiting. New commitments, predictions and updated visits among other news. However they lost out on a few targets recently with defensive back Chuck McDonald going to Bama, defensive back Faheem Delane going to Ohio State and defensive lineman Hayden Lowe committing to USC. There are a number of other predictions also made on some top Oregon targets. Here are the latest from the On3 Network since June 9. 3-Star DL Floyd BoucardScott Schrader...

As part of a new series on some potentially under-the-radar redshirt freshman for Oregon Football, I’ll be taking a look at quarterback Austin Novosad today to see where he fits into the Ducks’ 2024 outlook and beyond. Novosad came to Oregon via Dripping Springs, TX where he was a four-star prospect rated as the No. 10 quarterback in the 2023 recruiting cycle. Standing 6-3 and weighing in at 185 lbs, it was clear to most that Novosad would need some time in the weight room before he was ready to contribute for an Oregon team that has consistently fielded some of the best quarterbacks in the co...

The Ducks keep pushing for elite talent on both sides of the ball. One of those top defensive targets is Shaker Heights (Ohio) safety Trey McNutt. And the nation’s No. 22 overall player has locked in his official visit with Oregon On3’s Chad Simmons reports. McNutt will visit Oregon on June 21 which is the final weekend available in the June visit period. That’s a big win for the Ducks coaching staff.
