S650 FORD MUSTANG RTR WILL OFFICIALLY DEBUT ON MAY 24

We’ve known for a while now that RTR has been working on its S650 2024 Ford Mustang build. With collaboration with Ford to create the drift brake found in the new Mustang, a teaser showing a prototype at its headquarters, and a photo that someone took on a plane of an employee working on the car. RTR has been busy working on products for the next-generation Ford Mustang, and it looks like the wait is finally over, as a recent post from RTR Vehicles to the Mustang7G forum states that the reveal date will be May 24, 2023.

The exclusive 2024 Mustang RTR Reveal will transpire from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Hollywood Plaza Garage, 8050 International Drive in Orlando, Florida. RTR has reserved the entire deck for the event and has set up dedicated Mustang / Ford parking, parking for a dedicated car show (non-Ford parking), and spectator parking. However, since there will be limited space for just 700 vehicles, it’s vital for those planning to attend the event to RSVP through the RTR Vehicles website. The spectacular rooftop venue will showcase 25-30 hand-selected Mustangs.

2024 Ford Mustang RTR: What To Expect

A teaser video for the event has been posted on the RTR Vehicles Instagram page, which showcases the 5th-gen RTR Ford Mustang, 6th-gen, and then the 7th (the S650 RTR Mustang) is shrouded in darkness until the lights turn on, revealing the ever so popular triangular LED lights on the upper grille, though this time around they appear to be tiered, which adds more depth to the lighting. There’s also a concept art sketch on the RTR website which can help give a decent idea of what to expect the aesthetics of the 2024 RTR Mustang to have.

Based on the sketch, unique RTR wheels have been added to the car, along with a front splitter and side splitters. The spoiler appears to be the same as what can be found on the Dark Horse, and at the front, additional detail has been added to the corners of the grille where airflow goes to the front brakes. Naturally, the car will be adorned with RTR badging and unique RTR decals to add more depth to the body of the S650 Ford Mustang.
