HENNESSEY SENDS OFF CAMARO WITH 1000 HP EXORCIST FINAL EDITION

2023 has made itself a sad year for muscle car enthusiasts as we watch the Dodge Charger and Challenger in their current forms see an end to their production. But on top of that, General Motors has decided to end production of the 2024 Chevrolet Camaro as early as December of 2023, despite production having just started in August. There are some special editions of the Camaro, like the Collector’s Edition package and even the Garage 56 Camaro, which of course are all but completely spoken for. But neither of these options offers high horsepower performance to make the final edition something extraordinary. That is unless you look to Specialty Vehicle Engineering and its 2024 Yenko/SC Camaro. But if that isn’t your style, there’s also the Hennessey Performance Engineering Exorcist Camaro ZL1 upgrade package, something truly special as it even features the ‘Final Edition’ label, making it a proper send-off for the beloved muscle car.

2024 Hennessey Exorcist Camaro ZL1 Final Edition: Details

The Exorcist Camaro ZL1 was created by Hennessey in response to the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon back in 2017. The Hennessey Camaro ZL1 Exorcist produces 1,000 horsepower and 966 lb-ft of torque, which manages to launch the muscle car from a standstill to 60 mph in just 2.1 seconds with a quarter-mile time of 9.57 seconds and 147 miles per hour. All of that comes courtesy of a high-flow supercharge upgrade, along with other upgrades, including:

  • High-flow air induction system
  • Custom HPE Camshaft
  • Ported Cylinder Heads
  • Auxiliary fuel system upgrade
  • Upgraded valve springs and retainers
  • Upgrade intake valves and exhaust valves
  • Upgraded lifters and push rods
  • Oversized heat exchange upgrade
  • Long-tube stainless steel headers
  • High-flow catalytic converters

The ‘Final Edition’ of the 2024 Hennessey Chevrolet Camaro Exorcist features a serialized engine bay plaque and graphics with a “Final Edition” script. Just 57 examples of the Exorcist Camaro ZL1 ‘Final Edition’ upgrade are being made, which happens to be the same number of years since the Camaro was launched. Pricing for this high horsepower muscle car comes in at $54,950, excluding the price of the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, which has to be supplied by the customer. If interested, definitely reach out to Hennessey if you’ve ordered or already own a Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, as this will be a truly epic collector’s item in the future and a thrilling car to drive today.
