Kamala Harris Meets Yulia Navalnaya, Pelosi Offers Support In Munich

According to a White House official, Vice President Kamala Harris, on the margins of the Munich Security Conference, met with Yulia Navalnaya, the wife of Alexei Navalny.

The Vice President expressed her sorrow and outrage over reports of his death, stating that her prayers are with Yulia and the entire family.

In her speech in Munich Yulia Navalnaya said, “I want Putin, his entire entourage, Putin’s friends, his government to know that they will bear responsibility for what they did to our country, to my family, to my husband. And this day will come very soon.”

As Yulia Navalnaya exited the stage, former Speaker Nancy Pelosi reached out to her, exchanging kisses and offering condolences. Senators Chris Murphy and Chris Coons were also spotted next to Pelosi during the interaction.

Earlier today, in her opening remarks at the Munich Security Conference, VP Harris that “Whatever story they tell, let us be clear that Russia is responsible.”

President Biden is set to address the nation at noon from the White House.
