West Ham United ace Lucas Paqueta has just met a very high profile manager in London for dinner.
Lucas Paqueta is currently out injured, and hasn’t played for West Ham since our FA Cup clash with Bristol City at the London Stadium on January 7th.
The Brazilian has been absolutely brilliant for the Hammers this season, but his campaign has been a tumultuous one on a personal level, with an investigation into potential betting breaches currently still ongoing.
As a result of that investigation, Paqueta has been omitted from the Brazil national team squad over the past six months or so.
However, a recent report from Diogo Dantas of O Globo claimed that he would be in contention to be included in the next squad announced by new Brazil manager Brazil manager Dorival Junior.
And now it seems like the 61-year-old Samba Boys coach is determined to forge a solid relationship with the former Lyon man…

Globo Esporte claim that Dorival Junior had dinner with Paqueta in London this week.
The Brazilian media outlet suggest that the 61-year-old has the full backing from the Brazil national team federation to include the Hammers star in his upcoming squad for the games against England and Spain.
Paqueta returning to the Brazil national team squad will be a huge boost for him on a personal level.
However, the most important thing for him right now is to get back to full fitness so that he can return to action for West Ham.
The Hammers have badly missed the former Lyon star during his absence, and we have tumbled down the Premier League table without him.
If Lucas Paqueta starts playing at his best for West Ham again soon, he will surely be included in the Brazil national team squad, now that the new manager clearly wants him back involved.
