Instagram has an ‘Emoji Game’ in its DM
It isn’t clear when exactly the Emoji Game was introduced on Instagram DM (Direct Message), but users seem to have discovered it only a day or two back.
The feature is similar to the single Ping-Pong game, which requires you to hit the ball when it lands on your side.
The new feature on Instagram can be played with any emoticon of your choice and you also get a score at the end of every game.
Users have taken social media to express their excitement about spotting the game, as well as flaunting the scores they achieve at the end of every round.

How to play the ‘secret’ game
The Emoji Game on Instagram is simple and can be played by following these steps.
- Make sure your Instagram app is updated.
- Go to DM and send an emoji of your choice to anybody on your Friends’ list.
- Now tap on the sent emoji and you will be redirected to the game.
- Use the paddle below to move left and right to ensure the emoji is aloft.
- The emoji moves faster as you progress in the game and you lose if you fail to keep it in the air using the paddle.
- Your total score is displayed at the end of the game.
Instagram users are addicted to the simple yet fun game.
One user wrote after trying the game: “Who was going to tell me that when you tap an emoji on Instagram it opens a bounce game”
Another said: “Fun way to kill time while you wait on those paragraph-texting friends to finish typing.”
