A woman’s sunny day out at the beach was reduced to absolute chaos after she chose to start eating surrounded by seagulls.
Most beaches across the world have a set of rules vacationers must abide by while sunning it up. These usually include things like not feeding the local wildlife or taunting them with yummy food. Unfortunately, this TikToker did not get the memo.
Attack of the seagulls
TikTok user Louise (@lulusideras) took to the platform in February with a video that, although serious, was absolutely hilarious. You see, she was just trying to eat her salad at the beach, surrounded by picturesque views and the smell of salt water.
“POV: You’re trying to eat your salad at the beach,” she captioned the post which has since garnered over 35 million views and 5 million likes.
The video began with Louise sitting down on her blanket in a blue bikini and gold shades. Almost immediately after cracking open the lid on her salad, birds began to hover over her head.

Louise eventually looked up and spotted the dozens of flying creatures above her, causing her to drop the salad and run away. Of course, the seagulls jumped at the opportunity and dug into their lunch.
Everyone hates seagulls at the beach
Though most social media users empathized with Louise’s situation, others questioned why she ran away from her food.
One person wrote: “I cannot stand seagulls they make me so frustrated like give me space bro.”
“No because someone tell me what purpose do seagulls serve other than being greedy bullies?!” someone else chimed in.
A third said: “NAHHH YALL HEAR THEM LAUGHING AFTER SHE DROP THE SALAD.”
