What is The Wild Robot about?

Based on the bestselling book series by author Peter Brown and boasting an animation style not dissimilar from the excellent Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, The Wild Robot follows the epic adventure of a robot named ROZZUM unit 7134, or Roz for short.

Roz finds themselves shipwrecked on an island and must find a way to survive in their harsh new surroundings.

The island is completely uninhabited, except for its population of adorable animals whom Roz starts to befriend, including becoming the adoptive parent of an orphaned gosling.

Following the arrival of its first trailer on March 5, The Wild Robot will be heading to theaters on September 20, 2024.
