A pregnant woman was shocked when she was asked to “leave” the gym despite following the dress code.
The viral video posted by bodybuilder Emi has prompted comments in her support as TikTok users believe her workout outfit was highly “appropriate”.

Emi has been working out for years and her gym specifically focuses on bodybuilding.
The mom-to-be claims she’s been going to the same gym for a long time, but was recently asked not to wear a sports bra to work out anymore.
She found that to be strange but decided to stick with the rules. However, when Emi was in the middle of her workout, the gym owner walked up to her to tell her that his wife found issues with what she wore.
The pregnant woman clarified that she wasn’t wearing a sports bra and also noticed that others in the same gym were wearing much more revealing shirts.
The gym owner said his wife couldn’t differentiate between a sports bra and a tank top as it’s “hard to tell”, so he asked Emi to either wear a different top or exit the gym.
She said that was the “most awkward conversation” she’s ever had and doesn’t feel like working out in the gym anymore.

TikTok users call out the unfairness
The majority of TikTok users think Emi’s experience at the gym was unfair, especially when she’s pregnant and dressing up is harder with a baby bump.
One comment read: “The outfit is beyond appropriate.” when another user asked: “Why is there even a dress code? It’s 2024.”
A third user said: “I was expecting something super tiny but there isn’t ANYTHING wrong with your outfit.”
