Reality TV OG's 'rule' not to hang out with co-stars - 'never outside of filming'

This year Traitors fans in the US and across the pond in the UK have been treated to brand new seasons of their favorite show. Since The Traitors US wrapped up on March 7, contestant Mercedes “MJ” Javid has been dishing all kinds of details on her experience, including some previously unknown information about season 2 winner, Chris ‘CT’ Tamburello.

From January to March this year, The Traitors US fans were hooked. Many watched in anticipation each week to see which of their favorite celebrities would make it through another round of deceit and deception. While MJ lost out on the top spot, it was CT and Trishelle Cannatella who won the Peacock show.

CT ‘doesn’t socialize’ with anyone

Speaking during an episode of SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Extended, Mercedes revealed how her co-star CT “doesn’t socialize with anyone” on the show outside of filming.

She explained: “…he doesn’t even hang out the night before [the reunion], even when I’m not there. He was not there.”

MJ added how CT “has a rule” when it comes to socializing with co-stars: “We had PR events in New York… I think it’s like a specific thing that he makes sure not to hang out with anybody.”

CT is a reality TV OG

Although many reality TV viewers will know of CT for his Traitors US season 2 win, he’s much more famous for his many contests on MTV’s The Challenge.

CT first appeared on The Real World: Paris over 20 years ago. He went on to appear on Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Inferno a year later.

After appearing in so many seasons of the show, CT is one of the most decorated The Challenge players, as well as one who has earned the most money from the series.

MJ still has Trishelle ‘blocked’

As well as dishing the goss on CT, MJ explained where she stands with the other Challenge season 2 winner.

Speaking of Trishelle, MJ said: “…you know, I just, like you said, you should have feelings. The reunion probably would’ve been very snoozy had it not been for me owning my feelings. And at the end of the day, they all had their moments where they were crying over different things that happened during the game. And I, the most important thing is that when I saw what happened at the end, I was told by many people, I did it very well.”

She added: “…You know, like Trishelle just wanted me to like forgive her and unblock her and, you know, be friends again. And I’m like, I’m not even mad at you. It’s just, that was, that’s my choice to feel that way. And you’re gonna stay blocked until, you know, whatever. Like, don’t tell me what to do or how to feel.”
