Bergvall has recently spoken about his decision given he rejected one of the biggest football clubs in the world.

He said: “As I have said before it was very much 50/50. An incredibly difficult choice with two really good clubs. But I chose Tottenham mainly because of the gut feeling and the feelings I got when I met the club.”

A number of players, including Bergvall, have discussed the details of their interactions with Postecoglou prior to signing for Spurs.

Guglielmo Vicario is another player who was left impressed with what the Australian had to say when they spoke over the phone.
