Sheffield Wednesday boss Danny Rohl is now being linked with Sunderland.
Sheffield Wednesday could yet lose beloved boss Rohl to Championship rivals Sunderland this summer.
Reports emerged on Friday claiming that Rohl is on Sunderland’s managerial shortlist ahead of the summer, with the Black Cats currently having an interim boss in place.
Rohl, 34, is in his first managerial job after previously holding coaching positions with RB Leipzig, Bayern Munich, Southampton, and the German national team.
But in 30 games he’s take 12 wins and three draws, with his Sheffield Wednesday side now just a point from safety in the Championship.

He’s taken a side that was completely down and put at the start of the season and given them a huge glimmer of hope, with Sheffield Wednesday now able to finish in the mid-table region, let alone above the relegation places.
He’s done by playing some really neat football at both ends of the pitch, whilst also making a really genuine effort to connect with the fans.
But given the off-field woes that Sheffield Wednesday continue to endure under Dejphon Chansiri, Owls fans feel like it is inevitable Rohl leaves as long as the current ownership is in place.
