Arsenal fans have now had their say on Kai Havertz after the player scored for Germany against France on Saturday.
Arsenal star Kai Havertz scored the second goal for Germany as they beat France 2-0 in a friendly clash in Lyon.
There was Arsenal interest in both squads for this fixture. However, William Saliba remained on the bench for France throughout. This is will not disappoint Mikel Arteta, though, who will be pleased to see the centre-back being afforded some rest and being kept safe from any potential injuries.
Arsenal will already be concerned about the fitness of Gabriel Magalhaes. As the other half of the Premier League’s best centre-back partnership, it is vital that Saliba now remains fully fit, especially with the all-important clash against Manchester City on the horizon.
Kai Havertz continues good Arsenal form for Germany
In the meantime, Havertz started for Germany, where he was given the nod by Julian Nagelsmann to lead the line.
The 24-year-old has caught the eye with his versatility this season. Arteta has tried to reinvent the former Chelsea man as a midfielder, whilst earlier on in the campaign Havertz was even deployed as a left-back for his country.
In recent weeks, though, Havertz has impressed as a false-nine for the Gunners and has been in a great run of form in front of goal. He kept his hot streak going in France, as he was on-hand to tap the ball in from close range after some good work in the box by Jamal Musiala.
Arteta will be pleased to see Havertz impressing on international duty, and will expect the player to return to the Emirates Stadium full of confidence.

Having seen him get amongst the goals for Germany, plenty of Arsenal fans took to X to express their support for Havertz. One supporter said, “Havertz is in the form of his life.”
Another chipped in with, “Guess Arteta was right again!” One other fan stated, “Mr Right Place Right Time scores again.”
Another claimed, “Arteta has unlocked a beast.”
