On the night of March 26, Russia launched 12 kamikaze drones on Ukraine. Ukrainian Air Defense Forces destroyed all 12 Shaheds, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.

The Shaheds were launched from Cape Chauda, Crimea, and Kursk region, Russia.

Ukrainian Air Defense Forces shot down 12 of the 12 Russian drones. Mobile firing groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in Mykolaiv and Kharkiv regions were involved in repelling the attack.

In addition, the Russian occupiers attacked the Donetsk region at night with two S-300 anti-aircraft-guided missiles.

Russian night attack on Ukraine

After midnight, the Russians launched an attack on the territory of Kharkiv region using a Shahed-designed kamikaze drone. The head of the Kharkiv military garrison, Melnyk, said that Russian drones had been spotted in the region. At 1:22 a.m., five explosions were counted. An air alert was also announced in Sumy and Donetsk regions.

At around 2:03 a.m., Mykolaiv and Kherson regions reported a threat of attack UAVs. A few minutes later, a group of Shaheds was spotted flying from the Black Sea to Mykolaiv region.

At 2:25 a.m., Russian drones were heading for Mykolaiv from the south. There were also reports of UAVs moving along the coast of the Mykolaiv region in the direction of the Odesa region.

At 3:15 a.m., the Ukrainian Air Force reported a threat of ballistic missile attacks from the east.

At about 3:48 a.m., the threat was called off.
