The work commenced last Wednesday (March 20) and was completed yesterday (March 25).

A number of different species of trees were included in the clearance.

This comes after planning approval for the drainage basin at the Eastern Area Planning Committee on March 6.

The flood basin is planned to be a 0.85-hectare flood detention basin and a 120m-long swale.
